Your Milk Story Lactation Consulting partners with The Lactation Network (TLN) to provide insurance coverage for prenatal and postpartum lactation consultations through your insurance provider. TLN currently accepts many Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO plans, Anthem PPO plans, Cigna PPO plans, Multiplan PPO/POS, Provider Network of America (PNOA) plans, United Healthcare (UHC) PPO and some HMO plans (in-person consultations only). Please note, there are some exceptions for coverage in these plans. To check your eligibility, click the link below to input your insurance details. Eligibility is usually confirmed within 24 hours. Once your insurance coverage is confirmed by TLN, we will send you an email or call by phone to set up your consultation.

Michelle really helped our family after my baby had her tongue tie corrected at 9 weeks old. Infant Massage

Nurturing touch is the foundation for life-long connections

Bonding through nurturing touch is a powerful way to learn what your baby is trying to tell you.  Asking your baby for permission to touch and understanding their cues of engagement and disengagement are the beginnings of mutual respect that will continue through adulthood!

We offer private and group infant massage classes, led by Michelle Fassell, Certified Educator of Infant Massage.  All babies from birth to age 1 are welcome, accompanied by one caregiver.  By the end of the 5-class series, you and your baby will have a stronger bond through nurturing touch, you will learn evidenced-based massage techniques, and you will grow and learn alongside other new parents

Story Time Support Group

Relationships grow through connections and community

Building community with other new families in the early days is challenging.  You may feel isolated at home and not know where to turn to ask your burning questions. I know firsthand that parenting is hard work and can feel less overwhelming when shared with your community of support.  Our Story Time support group starts you on the path of forming new relationships through small group discussions and weekly positive affirmations.  We will delve deep into education topics such as back-to-work, introducing a bottle, crying as communication, and baby wearing, to name a few.  We look forward to helping you grow your relationships through new connections and community!

My newborn and I recently completed a 5-week infant massage class, and I would highly recommend it to any and all parents interested. It was a great bonding experience with my newborn, helped reinforce my understanding of newborn cues, and increased my confidence in handling our baby (especially important as a first-time parent). My child shows signs of relaxing during and after massage, and massage has also helped with tummy issues at times. The skills I learned I will continue to use as my child gets older, and I have been able to share what I have learned with my partner. Michelle provided a safe and secure atmosphere, is very knowledgeable on infant massage (and all other baby questions!), and also supplied a space for parents to socialize and connect.
